Earlier, on August 23, 2022, we had contacted Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Vice Chairperson Juliana Cherera, who stated that she does not have any social media accounts and that they are fake.

To arrive to this conclusion, the iVerify Network of Fact-Checking Desks has conducted the following process. We reversed image the photo of the broken door and discovered it was first shared on an Arabic Facebook account on November 19, 2019 when the owner of the home was not present.

We also discovered that the image of the man captured by CCTV cameras was first shared on Citizen TV’s YouTube channel on February 17, 2019 during the launch of the man-hunt for the man aptly nicknamed the “Spiderman” by Nairobi police for terrorizing a section of Kilimani residents.
