We reviewed Ugandan media and contacted the Ugandan government to learn that President Museveni’s most recent task was on September 8, 2022, when he praised the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) for growing from a small fund to one that now participates in large investment projects in the country, adding that the biggest war now is on moving the population into the money economy.

We also learned from the office of former Foreign Affairs Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) Ababu Namwamba, who led Dr. Ruto’s international relations docket at the presidential campaign secretariat, that Uganda’s Museveni is one of 40 heads of state scheduled to attend Ruto’s inauguration on September 13, 2022.
