To arrive to this conclusion, the iVerify Network of Fact-Checking Desks has conducted the following process. We used the InVID tool to create keyframes and thumbnails of the video, then reverse imaged it, and discovered that the placards held by the protestors in the footage that was taken using a phone from a different angle, was similar to that uploaded on NTV Kenya’s YouTube channel on August 22, 2022 when Azimio La Umoja diehards camped outside the Milimani Law Courts as Presidential candidate Raila Odinga was expected to file a petition on the concluded 2022 presidential election by 2 pm at the Supreme Court.

We used the InVID tool to create keyframes and thumbnails of the video, then reverse imaged it, and discovered that the placards held by the protestors in the footage, which was shot with a phone from a different angle, were similar to those seen on NTV Kenya’s YouTube channel on August 22, 2022, when Azimio La Umoja diehards camped outside the Milimani Law Courts as Presidential candidate Raila Odinga was expected to file a petition on the concluded 2022 presidential election by 2 p.m.
