To arrive to this conclusion, the iVerify Network of Fact Checking Desks has conducted the following process. We reverse checked the image and discovered the photo was shared in an article by Channels TV, a Nigerian independent 24-hour news and media television channel based in Lagos, Nigeria, on July 28, 2021, when the Nigerian Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola, went to inspect the border bridge connecting Nigeria and Cameroon project, at the Ajassor border community in Etung Local Government Area of Cross River State.

We also learned from a tweet on the official Twitter account of the Government of Nigeria that the two-lane Border Bridge was officially commissioned on November 3, 2022, by Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari and Cameroonian President Paul Biya.
