No, Uasin Gishu Governor Bii did not ride a donkey during the general election campaigns in 2022, but rather a horse, which did not die mysteriously.

Misleading

On June 6, 2022, Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii rode into Eldoret town on a horse draped in UDA colors after being cleared by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), and not on a donkey.

The horse shared in the claim, of a horse lying on grass, was captured in 2019 by an iStock user and is not the one used by Bii.

Bii rode a brown horse, whereas the other horse claimed to have died is black.
